    Single esc on a twin

Is there a reason why no one uses a single esc on a twin setup? I've seen it done but not on a boat. Anyone have any insite?

My thought it's that it might have to high of an amp spike making it easier to burn up stuff and got the cost is cheaper to use two esc's equaling the load instead of putting it all in one esc. And the cost of having two do that your not cooking stuff and it causing your body to go up in flames is a better idea to me. Why might you ask are you trying to save cost or what? What's the reasoning behind using just one instead of two?

No it just seems so much easier to setup would look cleaner and would be way more precise vs hoping you dont get a one bad esc, you must do the throttle range (and program) individually then "y" the rx wires so they are hopefully insync. If you are trying to use the
bec you can one use of of them now you have one set (motor esc and batt) on one side drained further than the other side... It seems better to me... I just dont know if I am missing something. So before I install ONE esc in my MHZ 84cm I am asking for others
      experiences/knowledge.
