    Rebuild or fix?

I just smashed my old sv27 into a rocky bank. I have no clue how it happened but I lost total control and off it went across the lake full bore. Then a fellow across the lake thought he was doings another favor by throwing it back onto the water where it sputters to its demise. The brushless system looked intact, lipos were soaked, receiver who knows and the haul total loss.

Now the question is do I buy a new hull and hope for the best or scrap it all and buy something new. It been 5 years better boats might have come up and prices might have dropped.

    Thanks

Ya shes done. The esc and motor might be salvageable...

I would opt for a new boat.
42" Osprey, 32" Pursuit, 26" Bling Rocket (rescue), Blizzard Rigger, JAE 21FE rigger, Hobby King rigger (RIP)

I own a SV27 and it is a fun boat, but if I was in your situation I would get a better handling hull unless you are really attached to the SV27 hull. If the hardware is not damaged you could use it for your new hull. Delta Force makes a cool 26" mono that a lot of the hardware from the SV27 could go into for example.
