Cool zac, hey just be happy your learning curve didn't cost you anything as many lessons of learning in this hobby usually involve smoke and a large$ purchase the next day!!! Just keep it on the water and keep pursuing your goals :)

It's crazy though it really did look fast I don't get it just does not seem like 44mph is all it has to me that's just not fast enough. I guess I got more learning to do. I'm sorry guys I guess excitement and being new and not knowing. I guess that's why it takes time. I thought I was on to something. I won't give up though. I will continue to try.Comment

Ok,
Was your cells hooked up right for 6s and that = 44mph ?
Or where you just running 3s and that = 44mph ?Comment

It just don't seem right. I'm actually really sick. Might just sell this *!***!***!***!** really thought for all the money I spent and mods I did it really was going allot faster. Feel like a jack ass.Comment

Zack, I told you. Post a vid of uninterrupted gps going in the boat, running, then pulling the gps out with a reading. Because here is what you get when you don't. All the d-bags come out to rip on you. Some of you guys make this site as bad as youtube video comments, trolling idiots sitting around to argue, debate or just screw with people. This site is to share info, share knowledge or even have the occasional swingin ---- contest with who has the fastest boat. But some of you guys make it suck. Why wouldn't that boat be that fast, its over powered, 2000kv on 6s and a 45mm prop? He may get those speeds then fry the setup, but so what if his goal is to hit that speed and not sport around for 15 min runs.Comment

Don't sweat it man. Look at this way, until you get a decent gps you don't know what your top speed is. Let's say it is 44 mph. Use that as your starting point to build from. Just sayin'Comment

And you had them put together in series for 6s ?
And not put together for parallel 3s.
You do know how the wiring should go ?
If not ask.
Show us some pictures of the setup in the hull with the cell in place and hooked up,
Like ready to hit the water.

Something isn't right. How do you up the kv from a stock Spartan and go slower? My Deltaforce 35 runs 55mph on 6s 1600kv setup. How can 2000kv on 6s go slower?Comment

Am I the only one that noticed, if that is the video of the run today, there's no way that is full power. Maybe throttle calibration is needed? You can tell by the sound of the motor, that is no where near the top rpm's that would come from a setup of a 2000kv motor on 6s. That motor would be much more high pitched if it were turning those kind of rpm's. That thing sounds like my stock King of Shaves mono.Comment
