    ride pads

Hey all; I have finally gotten around to building my BBY Zephyr, and I have a question regarding ride pads.
I have read that they are a good idea for ABS hulls because they will provide a sharper edge on the sponsons.
Of course I have already painted it, why would I ask before hand?
My amateurish attempt at painting has left me needing me to touch up the bottom, so if i were to add the pads now would be the time.
Is it worth it or should I run it as is and see how she goes?
    Thanks
    Joe

I would shoot Randy at BBY a note on that. He just built a Zephyr for me, and it runs perfect-- but note mine is fiberglass with CF reinforced sponsons.
