Hyperion Eos0610i DUO firmware Q

just ordered one of these(saturday afternoon) and have just found out that the firmware is up to v1.5... Question which version firmware will mine have? thanks

More than likely you will have the older firmware without the new "Store" mode. If you aren't worried about the 300ma discharge feature then I wouldn't sweat it. I bought the $20 cables to update mine BUT there really isn't a big need to YET.

well the review I read (v1.0) would tend to agree w/ you... its kinda like wondering which version firmware you get with your esc, if it works no biggie but you wonder... from what I've read most of the issues are not show stoppers for most users. thanks for the info

Yeah the biggest issue I ever had with the original firmware was that the Voltage on the display was slightly higher than my high dollar digital multimeter. My multimeter was reading 4.20 when the display on the DUO read 4.23. If you haven't read what the latest firmware does here is a link.

hummph if that is all it does... store mode, gee what will they think of next to encourage non-thinking on the part of the user(more fun to do a 'last run' and only charge part way )

Arg. My Ice does the same thing. never can quite get full charge. But what is .01V. to a sporter? nada really

according to the firmware upgrade page; there was/is a software glitch that shows the internal reference voltage(which is higher than cell voltage) instead of the cell voltage. the unit works right (charges to 4.2v) the display just reads a tad high(in raydee's example .03v high, I've seen a pack drop that much just sitting for awhile
