Turning a 56" Apache gas in to brushless using motor mounts from Finedesigin for 5inch rails and 240 hydra esc what motor from lepord will be good to put in with a 65 to 70mm prop on 6s and 8s .

On 6s I don't think you're not going to get 60mph you're at 17,316 rpm unloaded provided your motor is 100% efficient which it is not. I have run my cat on 6s with 750kv motors and it was flat out boring.

You're going to want something in the 1000kv range for that boat.

ok dose castle make a motor in that range with a 8mm shaft or I got to go with a lepord 1000lv motor the most I want to run is 10s .

On 8s, it will haul the mail. The OP stated he would run 6 and 8s. With the 2028, 6s won't cut it.

So I should run the castle on 8s to 10s should I go with the 200 hydra or the sword fish 240 with the castle 2028

Swordfish 240 2028 10s, then it will haul. Some guys run 8s2p with the motor but hv is your friend. Leopard 56 110 in 780 kv is also an option. All you need is in the store on this site except batteries.
