    Revolt 30 - Motor Upgrade

Looking at putting a new motor in my Revolt.

    I will be running the Seaking 180 on 4S 5000mah 30-40C.

    Any opinions on running a Leopard 3674 2200kv vs Leopard 4074 2000 or 2200?

If you aren't flying on the edge you're taking up too much room!!

A ul1 2030kv works very well in one. Also, set up right the boat will run a long time on 5000mah.

Do you think there would there be any benefit running a 4074 over a 36mm motor in this boat? How does the 2030 compare to your leopard 3674 2200?

The boat is so light that it just doesn't need a bunch of torque like the 40 or bigger has. I bet a 3674 2200 would work great.

Cool...thanks! On a side note I see you are a Yamaha guy. I love my Yammy snowmobile. Just finished putting a prototype twin screw blower on it.

What prop would you think with a 3674 2200kv? I may try it.

I like the x440 on my 29" mono which uses a neu 1515 2200kv motor.

While you're wating for the new motor to show up....I have had great success running the stock motor and ESC with an m645 prop.
I'm using inexpensive HK 4S1P 4000maH packs and consitently run cool in the mid to upper 40's for a good long time.
                I tried a UL-1 (2030kv) and didn't gain much at all.
Here's the thread I was posting to
                http://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...t-Breaks-60mph

I'm curious to see how yours runs with that bigger motor!
                This is NOT a toy?!?

Mine ran better on a x642 than it did on the 445 for general sport running.

I'd like to see the sled. We don't have them here but we do sell a bunch of parts for them online.

                    What speeds are you getting?

Here is my sled before the blower. I'll get more videos once the snow flies!

Here's my other pride and joy!

Now if I could only get my boat to do 300 mph!

I do like it better, probably because it's the fastest on my boat :)
I topped out at 46.9 on the GPS with the 1800KV, 60AQ ESC, 4S1P 40C pack.
Once I had the pack all the way aft, I adjusted the strut for nose-up just a hair and it came alive.
                        M545 was my second favorite.

I just took a pile of batteries, my buddies prop box, and a GPS to the lake and tested for a few hours.
If you have that luxury, it's the way to go!

Thanks! I've been flying for 25 years or so. I like it all. May even get a truck at some point.

I have a revolt and I put a leopard 3674 2200kv in it. I run a octura 442 on it. This thing is a hand full. The boat is so light you will need to put some weight in it and do some adjusting to keep it on the water.
