Before I start asking a million questions in a million different threads, I figured I should just start one central thread. There will (hopefully) be a Vac-U-Pickle on its way to me soon. I plan on building it in stages.
First I asked about Teflon vs Brass bushings.
Then I asked about painting the hardware as I do not like silver. This (see pic) is why. I made this years ago so cut me some slack. I am just using it to get a rough idea for a scheme.

Now I ask about connectors. For how simple the idea is, I am finding myself very puzzled. The boating community uses 5.5mm bullets on boats this large. I was going to start off with two 3600mah 2s lipos that I already have. They come equipped with HXT 4mm bullets and 10AWG wire. Should I switch them out for 5mm bullets? I know there are larger batteries that come equipped with these 4mm connectors.
Then there is the motor that comes equipped with 4mm bullets. Again, do I swap them out for 5.5mm bullets?
My desired ESC is a Turnigy Marine 120A. My motor options are XK3674 2200kv or XK3674 1900kv.
Thanks,
Kev
