I could buy new motors but I thought the higher kv on a boat was bad.what you wanted a lower ratingI only have the one motor so I would have to buy another one so if I have to buy two that's fine I really need to know what would be the best to run in it?Comment

If you only going max 6s to get them to fit I would go higher kv 1600-1800 if your only after speed. Just the higher the kv and volts the more rpm and that can lead to issues. Have you looked in the build section for anyone doing similar build to are what they run. I don't know what people run for saw boats my zonda just sport racing. What's life if you ain't having funComment

Expect RTR performance from the Zonda. If your goal is to go beyond that you need to build a real boat, not a RTR. There is a big difference.
10s2p is far too much, especially for a boat that has the motors mounted too far forward to achieve a proper CG without mounting lipos on the tunnel.Comment
