What's with the 10s packs talk?

I could buy new motors but I thought the higher kv on a boat was bad.what you wanted a lower ratingI only have the one motor so I would have to buy another one so if I have to buy two that's fine I really need to know what would be the best to run in it?

I would like to run the 10 S due to the fact of I want it to be for saw racing

That's what I'm asking is that going to work out what motors should I buy if I can fit 10s packs in it?

If not I know I can run two 5s maybe two 6s packs. My question ids what motor should I use setting that I want to use this boat for saw runs

It's still running but I'm going to if I have to buy two engines for this noisy and use the one I have in my spartan

63.325 last time out fast only good for going straight

If you only going max 6s to get them to fit I would go higher kv 1600-1800 if your only after speed. Just the higher the kv and volts the more rpm and that can lead to issues. Have you looked in the build section for anyone doing similar build to are what they run. I don't know what people run for saw boats my zonda just sport racing.

What setup in your spartan mine running Leo 4074 1600kV with 45x1.6 prop and it about the 94-96km/h

Expect RTR performance from the Zonda. If your goal is to go beyond that you need to build a real boat, not a RTR. There is a big difference.

10s2p is far too much, especially for a boat that has the motors mounted too far forward to achieve a proper CG without mounting lipos on the tunnel.

in my Spartan I put a 4082 with a 2000 kV rating I'll have to look at the problem running I don't know the specs is an Octura will look soon as I get home

I think 6s2p you could still get some really good speeds the Kevlar hull will be better than my glass hull
