so after lots of work, I finally got my new to me proboat Fastech up and running. running all stock setup on 4s Lipo's. ran it for the first time last night and felt like I had almost no signal, I'm talking 100' away and I could barely get it to turn and the throttle was cutting out. at one point It was only maybe 50' away and I had no steering and wound up beaching it, I set down the TX and walked over to pick the boat up and the servo was twitching and the engine would randomly engage. brought it over to the TX and it stopped twitching and the engine didn't move...is it an interference thing? I'm getting ready to take this thing on vacation for the weekend but if I can't trust it for more then 50' away what's the point. any quick tips or ideas....could I just need to freshen up my batteries in my TX? I admittedly grabbed the first 8 AA's I found. so I'm sure some are weaker then others. the meter on the TX read green so....
sorry newbie question but I couldn't find anything in my search results that helped
