New Guy.. Help ..How to install water jacket??

I have a aquacraft 36-56-2030kv motor and a aquacraft aqub9518 36mm one piece machined motor water jacket w/fittings.Sorry to ask but im just new to this..but i cant figure out how to install it on the motor?? its to tight to slide on with orings and i cant get the orings back in if i slide it over first without them?? PLEASE HELP...Anybody got any tricks to help?? Thanks

It has to be installed with the O-Ring in place on the jacket.

Use some dish soap on the O-Rings and the motor housing and it should slide on with a good push.

Wet your finger then the o-rings and turn the jacket while pushing it on, this also works.

Welcome to the frustrated club. I am not new to this but I have had zero luck with said AQ water jacket. I use this:http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...=ham-ul1-sv27r. It slides on effortlessly, because the "O" rings are higher profiled and better quality, the machined in channel on the jacket that holds the "O" rings are first class.
Now, if you happened to slide your jacket successfully, then, congrats! BUT check the "o" rings and make sure that they are not pinched or "derailed" in their channel. Once they did that and you slide over them, chances are that they are already broken inside, and here is the trick w/o getting a new jacket/"O" rings: go to hardware store and buy a silicone sealer like those for windows or Kitchen/bath/plumbing. GE makes them and is packaged like a toothpaste shaped tube. Just apply on the OUTSIDE gap between the jacket and the motor.
I had a recent episode of nerve break down for a similar situation although the reason was totally different on a CC1515 motor. See picture of what I mean:DSCN3411_3612.jpgDSCN3412_3613.jpg
On your motor with said jacket, try to point the tip of the tube into the gap and apply/spread , don't worry if it oozes out, you can use a hobby knife to smooth out later, I have the exact motor/jacket on another boat that I did that to both ends of the motor/jacket. You can shape the silicone after you spread it around the gap.
