    Why 8s?

    Suggestion:
    * leopard 4082 1600kv
    * seaking 180
    * 5s2p

    I'm running a leopard 4074 2200 and she moves. I need a setup change though. On a m445 she's OK, but when I run my heavily tweeked prop (not listing) she heats up bad moves out. This is 4s2p. I should go 5s, but I have no other use for 5s batteries. Between land, air (planes & helis) and sea I have to cautious on expensive battery purchases.

      Or maybe I'm thinking of buying a boat pursuit nemesis gold 592 2Y 1090kv motor would use a 9-cell lipo battery.

      What do you think of the two engines which would be better 32 inch pursuit boat?

        WHY???
        The Pursuit is not that big of a boat, 4082 is a good choice. As suggested above, 1600kv, 5s2p, she will be blazingly fast! And with good run time. I run mine with 4s2p, 4082/2200kv and she rips.
        But, you can always put a V-12 in a Toyota Corolla filled with Nitromethane and see what happens!
        Too many boats, not enough time...

          As the pursuit does not pass on that castle creation 1600kv motor and a 6-cell lipo battery hard when you have now mounted carbon fiber body Pursuit too many layers.

              I was thinking to buy the tp power 5660 1100kv motor pursuit boat and put the Thunder Power 4s 70c 6600 mah lipo batteries or 4S maxamp 150C 6500mah lipo batteries in series.

              What do you think about this?

                that motor is too large for the boat.
                Go with the TP Power 4050 4082 1160KV motor on 6S.

                  We race them on 4s. 8s would be good if you were building a torpedo.
