I'm running a leopard 4074 2200 and she moves. I need a setup change though. On a m445 she's OK, but when I run my heavily tweeked prop (not listing) she heats up bad moves out. This is 4s2p. I should go 5s, but I have no other use for 5s batteries. Between land, air (planes & helis) and sea I have to cautious on expensive battery purchases.
WHY???
The Pursuit is not that big of a boat, 4082 is a good choice. As suggested above, 1600kv, 5s2p, she will be blazingly fast! And with good run time. I run mine with 4s2p, 4082/2200kv and she rips.
But, you can always put a V-12 in a Toyota Corolla filled with Nitromethane and see what happens!
As the pursuit does not pass on that castle creation 1600kv motor and a 6-cell lipo battery hard when you have now mounted carbon fiber body Pursuit too many layers.

I was thinking to buy the tp power 5660 1100kv motor pursuit boat and put the Thunder Power 4s 70c 6600 mah lipo batteries or 4S maxamp 150C 6500mah lipo batteries in series.
This is the ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 4S - 14.8V, 6700mAh, 100C Lithium Polymer hard case battery pack. The 5-pin Align/E-Flite... PTK-LPH-6700-4S100-W
