I am building a FC Cheetah with a 4092 sized motor, 1450KV, running in 6S, perhaps 7s later on. Im thinking a x450 or so prop.
What size flex shaft is suitable for this motor?
0.150 inch? 0.187? 0.25?
I can make the 0.15 fit nicely. The 0.187 would be tight, but I could make it fit. The ID of the strut I have is 0.25, but it is meaty. I may be able to drill it out to 5/16th to accommodate a 0.25 flex, if there is a compelling reason.
in any case, I plan on a Wholt brazed connection for strength. I have lost a few props when the flex came undone.
