    Mean Machine vs HK Genesis

Hi, Im looking to buy a cat and not sure what to get, im also open to riggers or hydro if you provide suggestion. I have a aquastar 3974 2200kv motor, esc and 4s 5000mah 30c lipos already. My aim is to get low 50mph.

i can buy a genesis ARTR for $220 delivered which comes with hardware installed and 3674 2000kv motor.

if i was to get a mean machine hull and build it, this would cost me $350 -$400.

similarly, geico, or blackjack would cost me $400 delivered for the rtr.

im just wandering is the mean machine worth the extra $130 over the genesis?

    thanks

    Hi,
The Genesis or Daytona hull is like a dragster and good for high speeds and straight run,
It is very narrow and can be made to handle pretty good with a offset rudder.

The Mean machine is a lot wider and will handle tighter turns,
And also I think it can handle a little more choppy water to.

    I have both hulls,
But the MM is not done yet.

Hears the Daytona on 4s in parallel SK180a esc and Neu 1515 1y 2200kv with x442 prop.

    ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

I'm not sure what you're basing your pricing on, but I think it will cost you well over $400 to build a decent Mean Machine by the time all is said and done............

I have all the electrical component as well as octura m445. So the cost ghe mean machine I would assume be around 350$ as I just need hull, rudder, tube etc.
