Im faily new to boating... a few months ago I bought a MG 29 and loved it, but I destroyed the hull and kind of lost interest in rc's.. Anyways Im starting to get back into it as my buddys dad gave me a UL-1 hull... Im currently switching all the electrics from the MG and stummbled upon the 17" so I had to order one. Ive been doing research and I realize that they are about as slow as a rtr boat could come haha. Ive got a minimono that Im going to transfer electrics from.. for some reason I really enjoy the mini boats as you can just drive them in the pool without crashing at 35mph.
Anyways, there seems to be very little talk of this boat? for the price I figured there would be tons of people to buy them and switch them to brushless. What are your guys' opinion on this boat? just a waste of money or do they have some potential? Any tips/upgrades that should be done?
