    i tought plettenberg motors were worth something? am i wrong?

    Pletts are very good motors. The problem is that they are old technology. They were THE motors in their day, but brushless has left them in the dust.

    Another problem you have in selling that hull is that it is too small for modern race-worthy power systems, so it is only suitable for sport running. This automatically reduces the number of people that are wanting to buy a particular boat. Add the fact that there has been some cutting on the deck to fit the motor and that too makes it less desirable. Most FE boaters go to great lengths to make their boats water-tight. Yes, I know you can get plastic bits from Randy at BBY to make a new hatch, but you still have a hole to patch if you want to make a water-tight hull. In other words, a prospective buyer is looking at more work to get it on the water.

    These may be the primary reasons no one has shown interest in your hull. I would swoop on it, just to get the Plett, but I already have a 21" cat, and I'm toying with the idea of selling that, just to reduce my fleet.

    There is nothing wrong with the Plett or the BBY hull, they are just in less demand nowadays. Your price is more than fair.
