    cheetah CF inlay

I know people on here have CF inlay in their cheetahs. In looking for some advise.
I was going to use a single layer of 3k, 200 GSM plain weave, (what I have) on the bottom, up around the sides, and 2x layer on the transom. Is there any area that will need special attention or extra reinforcement?

Keep in mind this isnt a sub-par cheetah. This was a show hull used at a trade show to depict their quality product. The Carbon Kevlar inlay was done very well.

Fyi the carbon kevlar in a Cheetah is part of the layup, not an additional layer put in after the hull is assembled. It is still very thin and does benefit from an additional layer of carbon or carbon kevlar.

I agree. The boat is very light and probably would benefit from more.

Sounds like 2 layers at once would get you where you want to be Larry.
