They will likely get more too. I have heard they expect around 75 drivers. I know many of my gas friends are going. Just too far for me and too many days off!!
It should be great fun however. Those guys run races like clock work. At our District races we can get 48 heats of 4 to 6 boats done in a day. No wasted time!!!Don't get me started

But Doug is right, those guys take it very seriously. But you will also see some of the best racing around. Guys like Mark Grim are amazing to watch. He races nitro.

If you can, arrange to watch some of the gas Thunderboat heats. HUGE boats running stock Zenoah 260's but still getting up to the high 50's. Great racing action.Don't get me startedComment
