Let's just have no laws, and let everyone out of prison... The way god wants it. Let us have our god given rights and live like animals.

??? We need laws but the whole idea of restrictions and additional laws is the concept of big government, big brother,? Ever read? My opinion is most of our problems are stemming from too much being governed, government b.s. society need to follow rules but can not be ruled to the extent of revolt. And eventually the way things are going we will need a government access I.d. Card to take a crap in our own homes!!!Comment

Just like above , the pressure cooker was used to make a bomb ( and now this forum is on a watch list because I used the word bomb,) so maybe the kitchen stores should have trained personnel to correctly identify a government issued I.d. And be able to perform background and mental health checks to any persons purchasing a pressure cooker,,,,, RC boat, car, plane, ect,,,,, then driving up the pay rate for that specialized personnel ending in increasing cost of product and putting liability on clerks or retailer if misidentified or abused. It's gonna happen, people die, bad s$&t happens. Either turn the east to glass and take the oil or leave them alone!!! the criminals are always going to be smarter, it's just the way it is and it also pushes innovation too.Comment

I've said this before. You can't legislate evil out of peoples hearts. Evil people will find a way to do evil things. You can't take away a true deviants ability to inflict his will on others. Taking away the tools the innocent might use to protect themselves from those deviants only make the innocent more vulnerable. It doesn't make them safer. Such a simple concept.
The Oklahoma city bombing was an example of an evil deviant using creativity to destroy lives. If it happened today, the knee jerk reaction would be to take fertilizer away from farmers or make them get a background check to get it. Make it harder for those that didn't commit the crime. Then you have a brand new group of malcontents as a result. I'm suprised they didn't make it harder to rent a truck after that mess. Same thing they've done to legal, law abiding, gun owners. I'm not a gun nut either but the shear mathematics seem to imply that the vast majority of gun owners aren't deviant mass murdering scum bags.
The vast majority of pressure cooker owners aren't bomb builders. 99.99999999% of rc transmitter owners aren't bomb builders either but our beloved government will likely draw the wrong conclusion and punish us law abiding citizens once again. Blaming the tool and not the loose nut tends to be a Democratic mind set. Sorry lefties.Noisy personComment

I guess whenever we mention the word bo mb or pres sure co oker we should be more careful! Was at an auction the other day and they had one for sale and rifles as well. You could buy them freely, but had to have an FFL to buy the pistols for some reason (because they're shorter?)Legend 36 sailboat, KMB Powerjet Ed Hardy Viper, ABC jet pwrd BBY Oval Master, ABC Hobby Jetski, NQD Tear Into's, HK Discovery 500, MickieBeez pwrd Jet Rigger!, Davette/Gravtix jet sprint, KMB Powerjet Pursuit, NQD pwrd Jet Catamaran!,Steam pwrd African Queen, Sidewinder airboat, Graupner Eco PowerComment

We have a pollution issue locally. It's serious, will be dealt with aggressively, and asap but it's not nearly as horrific as our local news agencies made it sound. If I went by the nonsense the local papers were dishing out I would hide in basement under a tarp.Noisy personComment

If you're a law abiding citizen and just want an assault riffle available to protect your family you're very unlikely to run out and kill people with it. Not everyone that has an assault riffle bought it with plans to kill people. If that were the case the mass shootings would be a daily occurrence.
If you're a law abiding citizen and want an rc transmitter to operate your rc equipment you're very unlikely to run out and blow up people too.
If you're a deviant scum bag with no regard for human life you'll find a way to hurt someone with or without either of those.
The assault riffle and the TX are very very different...............to us. In recent events the assault riffle and the rc transmitter were exactly the same. Both were used to murder multiple people by scum.
Again, I'm no gun advocate but punishing law abiding citizens for the deviant behavior of a teeny tiny percentage of the population is wrong. I wont be shocked if this latest event impacts yet more law abiding citizens. I SO wish they could think further ahead than their next vote. They would rather be able to say "we're doing something" than figure out what the right thing is.
Next it'll be gov't provided body armor. Everyone must wear it.........it's for our own good.Noisy personComment

Well if you're such a genius, why are you posting here? Shouldn't you be telling congress your brilliant ideas on how to solve these issues?Comment
