    Female bullet connectors as joiners?

Not sure if this is silly but can I use 4/5mm female bullet connectors as joiners to extend esc to motor wires instead of just soldering the wires together. Put wire in either end of the female bullet?

Their are a few on here that extend the wires in this way ok, they normally cut the solder cup of so just leaving the open ended tube of the female connector & then soldering both wires in either ends.

Is that way good or is there a better way. I know you shouldn't extend wires but I have no choice on this build

This method is used by some very experienced builders & racers on this forum where their esc wires are to short, typically in riggers where the battery sits between the esc & the motor.

Iv done it. Works fine. The best way is to replace the wires right at the esc. That is not always practical so this is a good alternate method.

I should have replaced the esc wires but didn't think about it till I had waterproofed. Thanks for the advice
