Call me a dreamer, but I'd love to see an "out of the box" one-design race class with these critters. Something about how tunnels look while competing just gets my toes a-tapping. I gave up on P-Ltd OPC 'cause they've become fairly specialized knuckle busting builds and at the speeds they're now achieving require driving skills over and above what my meager "oldster" skills allow. These would be fun, but...........

    Nice find, Doby

I got my grandson (5) started on the Hornet, at 27" it would make an N boat. After we got tired of the weak motor & esc I made a real radio box and used a 2860 3000kv on a 3.5 K&B lower on 3S and it runs low 30's. Not a bad design but does blow over a bit.

Replacement shafts aren't much a problem since they are the .150" or 4mm Chinese cables with one square end used by most of the boats sold with the captivated drive line that needs total dis-assembly, just cut to proper length. It's a standard TFL part.

Would suck if it was not standard replacements for the flex and stub shaft.
Does look like the tfl lower though.

My eyes are not that 'fresh' anymore, but to me it looks like the TFL 'Lucky OCT P1' is the same boat as the Outer Limits... ?

These boats are indeed made by TFL, the Lucky OCT P1 is the same boat as the HK Outer Limits. RC Boat Bitz in australia also sell the Patron Saint which is also the same boat as the 2 others, these arnt new boats by the way as RC Boat Bitz has been selling their version for a couple of years now.
