I must admit I also do prefer the PDFs, I'd have 5 lbs of paper if I tried to take all the manuals to the pond.
Laptop always goes to the pond, easier to have them all in the RC folder in E form.
Too funny we have more computing power at the pond to run electric boats than the Apollo moon missions had!
All of us have computers at the pond now, finish a run - plug in the Eagletree, Load up the video of the run, watch some of it, make a few changes and repeat!
Even my charger has a USB port, although I don't log charging.
The LG TV I bought a couple of weeks ago came with a printed pictorial "Quick Start Guide" just enough info to get a DVD player hooked up, at that point it refers you to the DVD.
Some of this rc stuff shold come with a DVD, be a nice feature with some of the computerized radios and high end chargers.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

Yes, but I see more and more that have no information available like this one I purchased recently: http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store and some have been removed, with no replacement. I guess it's the new norm. Even my Flysky Tx came sans instructions and had to find them on an independant site. WTH, is the customer supposed to figure that all out? Argh! I'm all in for change for the better, and I guess it's a combination of all the above reasons. Can't say as I like it much though. I guess I'm old fashioned and expect some documentation to be included in a purchase of something that can have or lead to complications.
