cant get new esc to work

hi there, I just installed a 1800 leopard and a 180 seaking esc. I had two 2s lipos and they worked ok, but installed two 4s lipos and made the recommended adjustments with the programmer and can get the motor to start, any ideas? when I plug in batteries the esc beeps about every second, then I turn on the controller and the beeping stops and the esc flashes continuously. the rudder will turn but the motor no go, not sure what I've done.

Is test it with the 2 s and if it works count yourself lucky and build a parallel harness

I can't really see the photo on my phone, anyway, it can't be series, the ESC is rated to 6s max, it will not work beyond that. You ESC wire should not use another "bridge" as shown, too long and too complicate, I am sorry that I don't have A real keyboard to go into length.

I am glad all worked out. Looking at your picture, if I may make one suggestion: the orientation of the ESC might warrant a reconsideration. The silicone lines are pinched a bit and I think your power lines ( ESC to Batt) are on oneside only, it might be easier if you turn it around. Here is mine, not saying that should be the only way, but I have no problem with water volume and I don't think you will need to add another pick up.DSCN3401_3602.jpg
I don't know what your set up is for connectors, but from the picture, you seemed to have bullet plugs and then some EC5.5, I would streamline the set up for this boat and ALL your future boats with the 5.5mm plugs. I use that every where , from battery to ESC to motor. A good parallel connector is found here:http://kintecracing.com/Home_Page.php about half way down you will see a "Y" shaped connector.
                            Enjoy!
