    Traxxas rx

    What channel do I plug a ubec in a traxxas spartan rx? 1 is servo, 2 is throttle 3,4,5 not sure??

    I downloaded the manual and checked out page 11 - wiring diagram. I would try the battery port/channel 5 because that's where you would plug in a receiver battery pack with a nitro model.

    The fact that your using a ubec tells me it's going to supply power to Rx not the ESC. Thus it seems logical to plug the ubec into the battery port/channel 5 on the Rx like you would with a nitro rig.

      If your not getting the power for the rx from the esc because of the ubec you HAVE to remove the red wire from the esc-rx plug. I usually remove the female plug from the connector body, fold it back on itself and heatshrink it. Easier to go back than if you cut the wire.
      Most rx's it makes no difference where you plug the power in, the + & - are each a buss, only the signal pins are actually separate circuits.
      Never used Traxxas so I'm not 100% sure with them but every other brand I've used is like that.
      If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
