Prop suggestions on a few boats

    Guys,

I can get a pretty good deal on CNC props at the moment and was hoping for some input for various boats. Given the price I dont mind buying a few per boat- stock up and save. They have various diameters and 1.4 or 1.6 pitch.

    1) Mean Machine Cat, single 4074 or 4082 2200kv motor @ 4S

    2) Osprey 5692 motor 1340 kv @ 6S = 29748 rpm, looking to replace with a 5692 1090kv motor @ 8s power = 32264rpm.

    3) 32" Bling Rocket 4074 Leopard 2200kv or TP 4082 2200kv. I got a few motors floating around. I already got an M445 and a 45 x 1.4 CNC. Anything else to consider?

MM and Bling Rocket try 445 646 447 648 in that order (I think 648 will be on the edge)
Osprey try a 447 648 450 with the higher KV setup with the lower KV start w a 450
check temps after a couple of laps, these are RACE recommended props, 6 laps boat properly setup, If your boats are running wet you will get hot!!!!!
I use only berrylium and SS props, The alum props i've used in the past haven't been very good, all have broken, and you really cant play w them (cup and stuff) at the lake on the fly.

I am not a believer yet... I am REALLY curious to see how those 7075 CNC'ed props hold up to some racing and real power. Let us know how it does. I wasn't brave enough to buy any yesterday.

They tell you that balancing is not required, but anyone who knows metal understands their is still differences despite high accuracy machines. My new balancer is so sensitive it can pick up on it.

So these will all need minor balancing. There also was chatter in most of them. Nothing some 600-800 grit wont cure. My biggest complaint their is no sizes etched on them...

                Mm m445
Bling rocket x440/3 or x443. Small boat with huge prop= bad handling

The two 1.6 pitch props side by side with the 1.4's look identical. I think they got something mixed up. Glad it was only two props...
