    Question on battery setup

Guys I built this boat to run on 3s2p but reading more and more I think I might have problems. I was looking to do mid 50s with a Leo 4082 and a 180t esc with a 447 prop. I had everything so I put it in a fighter cat cheetah. Should I go with 2s2p. What would my speeds be?

I'm confused! Do you mean 6s1p instead of 3s2p and 4s1p instead of 2s2p? What kv is the motor? I'm not familiar with cheetah, but hopefully someone will be able help with speed.

Sorry I always mess up on the battery. I was planning on running 2 3s packs. And the motor is 2200kv. So that's why im thinking of going with 2 2s packs. But I was wondering what me speeds would be. I know with 2 3s it should b around 6ph

That motor on 6s is a hot setup. I wouldn't run it for sport running. I'm thinking with 4s, two 2s packs in series, you could get into the 50's. I would start testing with a 45mm prop not a 47. That's a big prop. I would suggest an M445.

I'm assuming that you are not going to race it, or just be sport running it.

No no racing just playing around in the lake. That's why I was thinking I could go with 2 3s packs

For playing around you want to run on 4s, not 6s. On 6s, or two 3s packs, you will burn something up. The motor rpm will be too high. Things will get hot.

                      That cat is 34"L x 13"W x 5.5 H and is a little bigger then my Mystic,
I would go with two 4s 40c 4000mah in parallel or higher mah if you have the room in the hull for them,
In my Mystic I am running them in parallel for pretty good run times and speeds to.

I would go for 4s5000mah. 2s packs won't give you much runtime on that motor.

So I should go with 2 4s packs in parallel for best results
