Need help identifying old marine ESC

New to the forum, amateur boater here, and I'm looking for some help identifying an old marine ESC. I'm dusting off an old boat I had from about 15 years ago kid, a Great Planes Wildcat SS, and looking at getting it running for the kids to have a little fun with.

Please see the attached picture, I looked all over the internet and couldn't find any leads for what this unit is. I'd like to find a set-up manual and spec's on it. The GP Wildcat I have is the version with the twin inline brushed motors, set up for dual 7.2V stick packs, it might have even been set up for dual 8.4V sticks. I popped the ESC apart and can't find any identifying marks anywhere that would indicate a manufacturer. I didn't finish up the "bathtub testing phase" before I shelved the boat and never came back to it. The ESC shown has blue and white leads for the motor, red and black leads for the batteries. It is BEC equipped. Also, it has a red LED and a green LED along with a single gray button for set-up. From what I remember it had a set-up sequence for learning the limits of the receivers throttle signal in forward and reverse (I believe it has reverse). Physically, from what I can see, the FET's do not protrude through the case, they are sandwiched up against the aluminum face plate, and the water jacket is bonded to the aluminum.

I'd like to get it running on a budget, so I'm looking at staying with the stock motors, stick packs, and hopefully this ESC for awhile.

Anybody know what this ESC is?

    Thanks!

I don't believe so - In a web search I can't find anything that looks similar. When I bought it back in 1999 or so, I don't imagine I would have spent a lot on it, maybe $75 or so. I almost wonder if it is an old version of a basic Traxxas marine ESC, but their website which shows older (legacy) esc's doesn't show mine.

Closest thing I've been able to compare it to is Duratrax Intellispeed.....obviously my esc has been discontinued for some time, and I have been unable so far to find anything that matches in appearance....I may try contacting Duratrax/Hobbico tech support.....

Thanks for the input.....I've got the unit working, forward, reverse, but I'm getting a lot of noise in the motors at neutral, and haven't been able to guess the sequence of button pushes to program it. Next step will be trying Duratrax's current set-up sequence just in case it works. All else fails, I'll rig it up with servo actuated switches, and the kids can play with it, and I'll use it for a chase boat and I'll bite the bullet for fast electric.....hmmm...choices.....Cat or V?!

If I remember right the Astro flights had rivets on the cooling plate and no water cooling, my vote is for the Hydro Zeta.

That was fun, any one know who made this one? This time I do.

I just sent an email off to Astroflight for support, to see if they can point me in the right direction.

The AstroFlight 208D is the closest in physical appearance, minus the water jacket. But mine has the one touch set-up button, with two LED's (red and green). Which is what pushed me in the direction of Duratrax, they have a similar one touch set-up on their Intellispeed's. The version that I have does not have any capacitors, or at least not one that is noticeably visible inside or out.
