    Can a fightercat 300 mah 3-16s esc need cap bank to run 6s to 8s or thats just for hv set ups from 10s to 16s

    Cap banks have nothing to do with the number of cells. They are used to reduce ripple current from inadequate batteries or long ESC-to-battery wires. If you use them for high voltage make certain that they are rated for voltages higher than you will ever use.

      Thanks Jay for the technical answer. In a lays mans terms, I use them to be able to use the throttle more.

        thx for the knowledge I got a mono h urricane hull wit a 1020 6pole nemsis from Finedesigin with a 300 mah 3to16s running a 270 prop I'm getting 52 MPH on 6s and 8s 69.5 MPH running cool and good with a castle hydra 240 .want to see if the fightercat I put together runs better
