I was thinking of building one of the dumas swamp buggys, I think that an outrunner would be perfect for it. These kind of boats look like a lot of fun, and you can drive them in the grass too, even though I might not do that.

I would like to electrify one of these.

This spring - as I was anxiously waiting for the ice to melt, I figured that one of these would help get me through the long hiatus of winter.

The difficult part for me would be sizing everything. I expect that if things were slightly oversized (compared to a conventional boat) the electronics it would run cooler. Of course, in the winter the air temps would be cold too, but if you run it in the summer, that would be of no help.
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

Hey everyone. I recently built a dumas big swamp buggy w/ a big outrunner and
5s5000's. It runs Ok but wasn't what I expected. It'll hard to control on the grass and on the water it goes about 20mph. I'd like to try it in the snow but we don't get much around here.

They were meant to run shallow that's why they have a large surface on the water - need power and a lot of torque. For snow or ice I would think of something more along the lines of a iceboat such as this.

well there is a box that they have on their website saying what the people what next, i say we create a thread telling people to enter in to aquacraft saying we suggest another hydro, cat , maybe shovel nose hydro bl?? but even you have to admit aquacraft did a great job on this rig.
