First run on lipos! (well almost)

Last night I soldered deans connectors to my new lipo packs and woke up this morning all ready to charge them up and head to the pond.

The packs that i got from the lhs are flightpower evo20 2500mah 2sp1 7.4v. They also sold me an equinox balancer to use with my triton 2 charger.

Well i was more than a bit disapointed when I learned that the flight power balance port does not plug in to equinox balancer they sold me. 2packs a charger, power supply and a balancer! spent about $500.00 and I get nothing.

The place I got them from is the nearest lhs and it is 500miles away!

I will have to phone them on monday and see if I can them to send me some thing on the bus.

Sorry to sound cranky, I just need to vent!

Man that stinks. Well at least you were smart and didn't just charge them without the balancer.

All these companies use diff style balance connectors, finding the right one can be a bear. Someone sent me a link to this http://www.rcaccessory.com/pdf/Batte...on%20Guide.pdf
        Maybe it will help.

judging by that list Steve linked, the flight power has the same plug as the thunder power, so then I will need that adapter to run my blinky with the new evo25 I ordered.

please let me know if I'm wrong.
The Manx has been sitting dormant, but I think I finally have my motivation back. I hope to see it float soon.

I know the only diff brtween the JST balancee tab and the Poly Quest style is the little retaining catch on the PQ packs.Slice it off and they fit JST balance ports nicely
