I remember some people had problems with D winds and 40.160s. Some of us didn't, and still don't.
I'm running a 1527 1.5Y & a 40.160 in the Squire and neither of them know they're in the boat.

Yes, D winds, no problems on Y winds.

I remember now. It was the big Plett that was wonky. The 350A1S I think.

Some Schulze controllers have issues with "d" winds. (I am speaking about 40-160 controllers. New and old.) When you are Milling they sometimes would loose timing and shut down and restart. (few seconds) They seem to be better these days. I am running 2215, 2220 and a 2230 on them with no problems. I have not run my 370/a1/s/mb in a while. I also run a 3060 Lehner and a 1717 Castle with no issues.

Howard, did you ever think you would see a day when a 40.160 was borderline not enough speedo?

I know what you are saying. My open mono set-up kept shutting down in Canada. Still ok for hydros. Putting together an AC R42 with a 2230 on 10s for this year. I am worried about the ESC.

I dunno, just searching and found it. It is the same base as Fightercat esc's. Same software & program box.
