    Favorite P-Mono motor??

Just wondering what is everyone's favorite P-Mono motor?
    I had a Leo 4092 2080kv then went with a TP Power 4092 2100kv to try out...
    I think both spinning a 447 prop

My favorite is the Neu 1521 1.5D but I have used a 1515 1Y and it worked fine also.

1521 has more grunt and can turn a bigger wheel, the 1515 will give you more rpm's(assuming same voltage 4s) so a smaller prop. If you have a "heavier hull" then go with the 1521, if you have a lighter hull go with the 1515. Both have many wins in the P-mono class. Just depends.... I am running a delta force and just switched over from my 1521 to my 1515 because I think it may work better for me. The 1515 will be hotter when it comes back because of the load as compared to the 1521 so might be more at the limit.

I agree with Jim. I'm running an Insane 34 with the 1521 and ran the 1515 with a Aeromarine Titan 33. I prop conservatively since I run with nitro boats but at comparable speeds, I find 1521 runs a little cooler and I burn a little less mAh than the 1515 did.

I run the 1515 1Y 2200KV on my 29" syncron. It runs cool on 4S1P up to an x442 prop (my standard prop is 440), and I seem to get more run time vs. a similar size/kv leopard. Likely a more efficient motor, but since we run different brand packs I can't be sure... my config is hyperion packs + neu motor vs turnigy packs +leopard motor.

              This is good stuff
these 1515 motors talked about here are they the Castle or NEU versions?

I'm looking at the 6 pole Tenshock 4074 2200kv motor to try out next..

I think it's only a 2100kv but, I'm not sure if we are talking about same aid motors.

Kinda missed that one. Might be worth a try but, the castle still weighs 60grams more. Just wondering if it has more copper or what??

That and KBB has 1515's on sale too for $120. for $10 more (less shipping) I'd rather have a Castle I think.

maybe the wires to the esc ?
the Tenshock does not have the wires like the Castle motor, that could be an easy 60grams lighter
