    ESC's

So, Swordfish pro 300 or Castle HV 200? The numbers say the Swordfish will handle more, but what does the real world say? Mainly looking for input on the Swordfish, since I am pretty aware of the Castle ESC. Heck, how does this Swordfish pro 300 compare to the Castle 240amp?

They are all roughly the same price (give or take a bit) so which is the toughest? I was thinking why not buy a Swordfish 300 instead of a castle 240amp and have more "headroom" on the amps just in case for a 6s set up and still have the flexiblity to use it for a 8s or 10s setup?

The other issue to consider is footprint. The Swordfish is bigger.

I am interested in this as well. I need to get esc's for a cat i am planning on building and its between these two ESC's. If anyone can also comment on the ease of reading the data from the swordfish. I have a Hydra ICE 240 and it is great. Really interested in the swordfish pro 300 now that they have data logging.

Put another way, if you have a swordfish 300 tell us if it has "popped" yet and if not, tell us how hard you are pushing it.

I'm working with my Hifei 300 for few months pushing it hard on a saw rigger with a Leo motor and it works very good..the only problem I;m having now that a Stick to a Neu motor is with data logging...can;t record data and I have a runtime error????? everytime I try this function....maybe someone can clear this! Gill, I do know that "Oscarel" is running the Hifei 300amp and is able to look at the datalogging. You might see what version of Windows he is running to see if that is causing your issue. Thanks for you're report on how it is working for the rigger.

With the Leopard the 300A worked fine but with the Neu I really don't know what's the problem....did everything and nothing...well let's see if Oscarel can solve this issue. Thanks Gill
