    foam

    so i got a question. does this stuff http://www.acehardware.com/largeImag...p1160147dt.jpg
    work the same as expandable 2part foam?will it make my boat rigid?iam looking to fill my boat up with foam . i perchased 2part foam and it didnt fill nearly half the boat up(SUPER HAWAII).so i am now looking to buy something cheap becouse my lhs doesnt carry that 2part foam nomore and it cost alot.please help

    if you are carefull to not overfill(you can usually add more) you can use that...I have been informed the the great stuff in the blue lable can is more foregiving so you might want to hunt that up.

          eryes I believe that is the one(didn't actually spend much time looking at the can...caught the fellow at a momentary break in his sched, then we went dashing off to the pond to figure out the circut breakers(some one had turned everything off)). I do know the stuff in the red can can push/pull like no-ones business :).

            The window and door frame stuff is good - I didn't use it in a boat but it won't swell the thin frames in a window or door.


            edit: need to be careful - it expands a lot!!!

                there is so many people saying dont put foam but it dosnt bother me couse i had not had a problem yet

                  you know and I know that, if we're carefull, that we can use it...however I wouldn't want some person who is in a hurry and doesn't read instructions on the can, to grab a can, dump the contents into their boat...to say, but nobody mentioned etc. etc. that they could have an enourmous mess on their hands(and everywhere else for that matter). hence all the cautions.
