    Clear Coating Wood Tunnel?

I have a brand new Woodstuff Tunnel. It is sealed from builder. I want to scuff the bottom and spray multiple coats, sanding in between until I have a very nice smooth running surface. What is available and recommended that is available in an aerosol can? Paint, epoxy based, varathane?? Thanks for your help

I'm going to shoot my new rigger with Klass Kote tomorrow. It's a two part epoxy paint and has very good write ups. http://www.klasskote.com/

I have used this on a few boats. It's a two part rattle can. http://www.repaintsupply.com/pd_2_part_2k_aerosol.cfm It leaves a nice finish but I have had some of it lift when removing hatch tape (probably due to lousy prep).

It's cool but expensive and if you are only doing one boat there is allot of waste. You have to use it up by I think 24 hours.

Does this spray still contain the same nastys that conventional 2 part paints have.

I don't know if the chemicals are the same but a respirator is required if shooting indoors. It's pretty nasty stuff.

How much paint needs a 32 inch mono?
Looks good for boats and as epoxy must be hard to lift for the hull!

I believe I read a quart (color, catalyst and reducer) covers 75 square feet. So I would guess if you get the half pint size of of color and catalyst you should easily be able to shoot two or three coats on you mono and probably use only half of what you purchased.
