    Mystic 29 motor upgrade question.

    I have a PROBOAT Mystic 29 with a Hobby Wing SeaKing 180 v3. ESC, running 5300 2s2p 50c 7.4v lipo's.
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a motor swap.
I was looking at the Leo 3650 2290 kv.
    Any thoughts would help.
    Thanks folks.

I'm running a ul1 motor in one of mine and it runs great. You can see it in the video thread.
    white geico w/2200kv 3674 leopard 53.5mph 4s2p, geico w/ 1800kv outrunner 52mph on 4s2p, genesis w/2200kv castle 53.8 on 4s2p, impulse 31 w/2200kv castle, stock p1 and ul-1

I am installing a tacon 4074 2100 kv as recommended by a member on here, he got his up to 52mph on that! Tacon and leopard are pretty much the same motor from head to toe though!

My BJ29 with a Seaking 180A and Leopard 1400kv. On 6S she screams beautifull. Have not GPS'ed her yet, but must be close to 50mph+... Stock prop sharpened and balanced but with new OSE flex-shaft.

I rebuilt my MG, and I have a HW 180a esc like you. I'm running a Leo 4074 2200kv 4s2p in mine. I've got it up to 52mph, but there is a little more in it. I also have the offset rudder from Kintec.

Here's a link to the rebuild.

My MG has a leopard 4074 2000kv motor and a speaking 180a. Runs GPS 51mph all day long and no over heating. oh forgot this is on 4s batteries
There is no replacement for displacement, I guess I just have to Buzz it higher!
