    Lipos got wet.

Guys I was running the Triton on 4S 2 nite and she blew over in the chop. the hatch tape peeled back a little and my lipos got a little wet. I instantly took them out and shook them out as best I could. Do I need to do anything else? They only got a little wet. Thanks in advance Will

Will, I strongly advise you to peel off the shrink wrap and completely dry out the cells. The problem is the tabs, which if coroded will increase reistance and can cause pack failure. Cut a corner of the wrap and peel it off in a spiral fashon, dry completely and re-shrink. You never know for certain if water remains inside. I've done this repeatedly with no damaged packs.

i have a set of 4500 30C that got dunked for about 5 mins.
first the shrink wrap was taken off, next the plastic protector. and then i was left with the bare cells with small wooden blocks to separate the tabs.
replace the blocks so that they don't get moldy and then re shrink it and have more fun!

Mine also got dunked for about the same length of time. I didn't know where to get more shrink so I put a hair dryer pointing into the ends of them for about 5 hours and then left them out in the sun for a couple of days. It's about 6 weeks after the fact now and the batteries still seem fine. The battery resistance I see on the charger's display hasn't changed. I'm not recommending doing what I did and not taking off the shrink. Thanks for posting the link on where to get the shrink. I think I'll pick some up in case this happens again.
