Hears what OSE has on the front page, http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/inf...ass-tubing.php
I just like to bend by hand a little at a time,
I do a lot of brake line repairs and have all the tool to bend with.
But I like to do most bends by hand if I can.
    ? ONLY IF THEY WORK

Some different devices, but my favorite is hands or the football. I can get whatever radius I want just by using different locations on the ball. Sometimes I anneal tune sometimes not. Always need longer piece than what is needed, something to hold onto. I also simply put the liner and shaft into the tube while bending. And agree if you are bending the tube to the point of kinking then the bend is too tight, will just put unnecessary stress on the shaft.

I have bent with my hands before, but find it takes too long. Anneal (soften) over a gas burner until almost red hot, wave it around 10 seconds or so until it cools enough to deal with. Then bend it (see how easy it bends without kinking) however you need it. When done, heat it again until almost red, quench under cold water (makes it hard again). Easy peasy.
