    Mg motor and esc ?

Looking for a fast motor and esc setup for my mg! Only thing done to boat is x642 sharpened and balanced! Looking to go in 60s-70s if possible... Would like some recommendations on motor and esc... I'd be willing to buy new battery's for whatever setup I get! Thx in advance!

from the MG's that I have seen, The easiest way to get them to the 60s is to twin it and that would mean twin everything motor, esc, batts, stingers shafts one LT and ine RT for a twin setup 2 3s lipos I would recomend 2 LEO 3674 1700kv esc I think 2 seaking 180s

A 1515 castle 2200 kv on 5s will likely get you to 60 with 642 prop

That is, if you're suggesting running the 2200 on 6s

I'm throwing a tacon 4074 in my mystic (same hull) with a seaking 180 and one member of ose has got his to 52 mph on 4s, so I would assume (if the seaking can handle it) a 6s would get it a bit higher speeds

The 2150 is a 4s motor. The better Neu and castle motors will do 5s, but the reality is, even the castle or Neu motors won't last long on 6s in a boat.your tacon may do 5s but that's risky. It's not exactly considered a high quality motor.
Better to stay with 4s, but if you must try 6s, bring a fire extinguisher with you

I run my tacon 4074 2150kv with a SeaK180 in my 32 rivercat pretty regularly on 6s and ues a 443 prop and believe it or not it doesn't get hot and runs high 60's. I know this is way to many rpms but when I consistently run it and it barely even gets warm it makes conventional wisdom questionable

Lookie here sa. I run that less than optimal motor in my spartan that traxxas made castle jimmy rig (because marketing materials were already printed on 6s all day. If that motor (with right set up has <1% failure rate) the 1515 will be fine. If you can't afford the right set up then dont run it rookie.
