Hi all having issues after spraying 4th coat of clear Tremclad with the paint starting to craze underneath. I SCUFFED THE GEL COAT with 1400 wet paper sprayed tremclad primmer then tremclad yellow then on the 3rd or 4th coat of clear the paint crazes. What am i doing wrong? Regards Andris Golts.

Isn't trem clad for rust?
Maybe the application you're using it for is causing issues. Paints are designed for certain things -
Ditch the trem clad and start over.Comment

your 1400 might be too smooth for the paint to bond
I have been told lately to use a lot more coarse sand paper, or even scotchbright pads on gelcoat before paintingComment
