need wiring help on a Graupner dual motor SYSTEMS

I would like to hear from anyone who is familiar with the wiring of this catamaran.
I have it wired for one motor with the 2-6cell 7.2v batteries but cannot remember the motor wiring
for the 2 motors.
I built it in the mid 80s and the Graupner wiring shows it wired with their obsolete reostat type speed control
which is written in German. I had wired it with one battery lead in series through a servo driven micro switch
and would like to run it that way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can email my original as built wiring diagram thats confusing me.
