    g freaks esc question

So I seach google and most threads r about how crapy the company is and I think there out of businesses? However I bought a used Blast and it has a g freak brushed 12v 35a. Stage 1 esc. Does anyone know the specs? Can it handle 2-3 s lipo? Is 35a peek amps?

It shows it has a lov voltage cuttoff for lipo so i would think it would run on 2s but not sure of 3s as its limit says 12v but ill keep researching

I've got a few different types of brushed ESC that state 12V max voltage & I have run them all on 3s lipo with no problem. I would say that your ESC will handle 3s too. They usually build in a bit of a buffer on the voltage & the 0.6V over 12v that a fully charged 3s pack has at 12.6v will be within that buffer. As soon as you apply a load the voltage will drop below 12V.
Of course the trick is to make sure that on 3s you use a prop that will draw less than 35A. The prop being used for 2s packs will probably be too big for 3s.
See the danger. THEN DO IT ANYWAY!!!

I pulled out my ProBoat Apache 24 and it has this G freak ESC and motor in it. I don't think I ever used it. I'm going to try it out today. If it don't rain.
