    HELP with a 26 bling rocket (df 26)

    I am building a 26 FC Bling Rocket Im hoping for 50+ mph when I finish it

    Motor: 550 heli 1600kv outrunner
    Esc : FC 240 amp 2-8s+castle bec
    servo (steering) : traxxas 2075
    servo (strut adjustment):traxxas 2080
    batteries: 2 gforce 25c 4000mah 3s total 6s
    Prop: x437/3
    Radio:futaba 4pl 2.4
    I need advice for positioning of all the electronics so that the COG will be correct .
    I know that I sound like a newb but Im new to building the FE boats Instead of buying them.
    Here is what I have so far

      Sounds like 10 Lbs of crap in a 6 Lb bag.

      Looks like you are over complicating it. I cant see why you would need adjustable trim on the fly. Its just more bulk weight in an already cramped boat.

      Two 3S batts? Will they even fit in your proposed location?

      240A esc? Ya I was looking to buy one of those for my 42" boat...

      IMO you are going to big on the ESC, drop the extra servo. Motor/battery combo might work but I think your going to have a hell of a torque roll... Most people with these are having a good time with 3674 and running 4S.

          That's a lot for that boat. This one runs about 50 mph with a 2200kv on 4s.
          Keep your motor as far aft as possible and you will have all the adjustment you need with your batteries. Start your CG around 7-8'' from the transom.
          Fun boat btw..

              well with what I have so far do you think that I might be near SAW speeds ? I am not aiming for that but just curious

                  What motor mount do I need for it because I cant find a good motormount w/o the rear ring for the longer motors
