    Watts by the numbers..

Has anyone seen Cris Fine black Nemesis motors, and do the numbers look right?

    8400 watts 56x85 4-6-7y

    10000 watts 56x95 5-6y

    12000 watts 56x95 4-6-7-8-9y

6 poles and up to 50000 rpm..

Sure the numbers look good. The problem is how to get them in the real world.

    56x85 4-6-7Y: you need to use 58 volts and 144 amps to get 8500 watts - that's 16S.
    56x95 5-6Y: you need 50 volts and 200 amps to get 10,000 watts - that's 14S.
    56x95 4-6-8-9Y: here it gets crazy, 108 volts and 111 amps - that's 29S.

Watt ratings are pretty meaningless anyway. Here they just mean the power consumed by the system, not the power output. They are in line with the typical numbers coming out of China.

Thanks Fluid, it just seems like every merchant selling Bl motors fudging the numbers.
