I do not really know what the difference will be but wont the 820 kv motor have more RPM's then the 725kv, while Im asking how much of a difference should you expect out of say a 100 point kv difference? on the same 12s pack.

A comparable and more efficient motor like a Neu, or lehner motor will do 20-40000 rpm. but 50k? i hope at those speeds they have titanium bearings..those are 1500 series Neu territory, at those rpm expect to see the motor with a very short life.

        black nemisis

just trying to compare these motor's performance. 12-s is the power supply . dont care if the kv's are exact. if 2 motors rated at 10,000 watts are run on 12 -s which has more power? an airplane prop will tell you.

Yes, the TP power motors are overrated, expecially the larger ones. You can't compare power and RPM ratings from TP (Nemesis) to Neu. Anybody can put an exaggerated rating on a component. I don't think the bearings would be the issue with these motors anyway, it has historicaly been more of an issue with the magnets coming apart at high RPM.
If someone was looking for a 50k RPM motor, I don't know why on earth they would choose a 6 pole motor anyway...that motor would not be very efficient at that RPM, even if it did stay together. It's just a B.S. rating to help sell their product.

Just to be clear, I'm not saying there's anything wrong with TP motors. They are comparable to the other "Budget" motors out there and perform well for the money...I'm just saying that the ratings are not comparable to the ratings you would see on Neu or Lehner motors. If you want Big power + Big RPM, you have to pay for it.

I do agree 100%, that said in most all cases when copied items come out of china they have there issues, but not for long, can not say it is today but one day and it could be today, that margin will be tightened,we already see it in gas motors, bought in bulk you can buy clones that are fantastic for 59.00 each, replacing the staple 200.00 motor with very little real world issues.

We already see it in electric motors too. These Chinese motors (Leopard, TP, etc.) perform quite well for the price and are usually ok for normal use. However, when you are pushing the boundries of the hobby, such as extreme RPM and speed, your failure rate will go up drastically. China is great at making cheap products, typically copies. They are however, not often innovative or highly technical, and you can assume a larger margin for error expressed in their products.
