Beside the eagle tree logger (and the trick to double it's amp's) has anyone tried one of these with success?

I used the eagle tree logger in my boats pulled over 250amps I modded the units soldered larger gauge wires 8 ga on the loggers when I was comfortable with my set up I removed the loggers they are the weak link
