i am a little confused where to pull the cg from on a cat with a transom overhang ( cheetah) do you take 30 % of the total length of the boat or do you measure from the transom (where the stingers are mounted) and then go 30% from there ? example the cheetah deck ( measured from top) is 34 " and 30 % of that is 11.33 roughly . if you measure from the bottom ( hook tape onto where stinger mounts) and measure up to front its 32.5" and 30 % of that is 10.75" . now if u made a mark form the top measurement and a mark from the bottom measurement they are about 1 1/2 inches different. I not sure which measurment to use. im leanig towards the lower measurment from the sponson transom.(suggestion from keith's forum)

You have to move the wight more to the middle. The cg in hydro's and cats are in the middle. If you move them too much backwards you get the problem you have now, if you move them too much in the front you transform your boat in a submarineYou can try the following: get a round stick, place it on a flat surface and put your boat on it to see where the balance is. That will be your cg, you can fine tune it by moving your lipo's more forwards or afterwards.
