Around 50 mph....the prop that works well on my Insanity is a Mark Sholund worked ABC H-7
Btw...the cap bank is not needed with that setup....

I watched a well known racer have his p spec rigger at 60+ in the straights. at least that's what the radar gun said. Remember its not always the fastest boat that wins the race though.Comment

Was it a Rigged Insanity?...that is what this thread is about...I get what you're saying but....Comment

the title is p spec rigger speed. I thought he wanted to know what kind of speed p spec hydros were running to see where he would need to be to be competitive. Not 100% on the hull but i'm gonna guess it was raptor rigger.Comment

I was trying to figure out a top or optimum speed for a rigged insanity for someone im helping getting his stuff ready for the nats this year. Me and him are working on his two riggers to get them ready for the nats. His p-hydro is pretty much already to go but the rigged insanity for p-spec is having some issues. Thanks for the info.Tommy Levescy sponsored by: RCJuice.com, Rawspeed, Scorpion Precision Performance, TC Racing, Triton RC, Oxidean Marine and Cencal Hobbies.
