    TP motors

    anyone got any info on tp motors? who makes em etc? opinions etc. better then leo's? thanks

    They make their own motors. There is some debate to who is the better of the two. The quality of manufacture is definitely on the TP Power side.

    Understanding I had is their larger 6 pole motors are better (56dia) than Leopards. But Leopard has the upper hand on the smaller.

      I loved my TP 4082 1800 kv's but have no direct comparison as I have not had a Leopard yet.

        I have several and they are great motors very strong and last good also

            I run a couple of TP Power motors.
            They run stronger & cooler than the same size/kv Leopards in the same boats with the same props. And they leave a bit more capacity in the packs after a race. At least that's what I've found. Of course, propping up will change all that.
            I won't buy any Leopards again. Especially after two have failed & taken out two ESC's .
