    Hydra 120 Programming?

Hey guys, looking for some suggestions. I need to buy a new ESC that is usable. This 120 is driving me crazy. It's pure insanity. I cannot figure out and get stuck in the programming mode. Now it keeps beeping and then the motor turns on wide open all by itself.

I'm looking for an ESC for my Mr Krabbs, 4s, that is plug and go. No more stick programming. Safe, logical, and easy to use.

    Thanks for your help,

    Allen

Castle link makes things easy, I could never program without it. Are you sure your RX isn't malfunctioning?

I found that my car ESC made around that time will only respond to Windows XP, had to revive my 2003 computer for that operation, lol...
Don't know if it only happens to car ESC. Don't mean to go off topic.

Peter, I don't see on this unit where you plug in anything so it can be programmed. Thanks for the reply. Allen

I bought this ESC in a used boat. I ordered the castle link based on everyones suggestions. I will program and get back on the water soon. Thanks, Allen

I have hydra 240's but I think the programming is the same-- I use the TX (no card)-- but if yours is entering programming mode, it could be because your TX throttle trim is off too much-- try brining it to neutral first. Also check that the throttle channel is in the right direction-- it may need to be reversed.
